REET Mains Examination 2025 and its Main Highlights
The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) Mains exam is a crucial examination used for the recruitment of the Government School Teachers of Rajasthan. Furthermore, this exam is the basis on which Level 1 and Level 2 teachers for the Government schools are selected. The Level 1 teachers mainly teach students in the primary sections of the Government schools of Rajasthan. On the other hand, Level 2 teachers teach the upper primary sections of the Government schools of Rajasthan. Moreover, to apply for the Level 1 or Level 2 position mains exam, candidates must have passed the REET Prelims. The salary of the teachers working in the Government schools ranges from a minimum of Rs 56,100 to a maximum of Rs 1,77,500.

REET Mains Vacancy 2025
The REET Mains Examination 2025 is the medium to recruit the Government school teachers in Rajasthan. LEVEL 1 Teachers’ Vacancies 2025
- Teachers who are proficient in teaching Sanskrit Education can teach in the General or TSP areas. Moreover, the General area has a vacancy of 187 jobs for Level 1 teachers. On the other hand, the TSP area has a vacancy of 10 jobs for Level 1 teachers.
- Similarly, the teachers who are proficient in General Education can teach in the General or TSP areas. The General area has a vacancy of 422 jobs for Level 1 teachers and 27 vacancies for teachers in the TSP area.
- Teachers who are proficient in Elementary Education can teach in the General or TSP areas. The General area has a vacancy of 4500 jobs and 500 jobs in the TSP area for Level 1 teachers.

- For the subject ‘Sanskrit’, there are 319 vacancies in the General Area and 70 vacancies in the TSP area.
- For the subject ‘Hindi’, there are 156 vacancies in the General area and 18 vacancies in the TSP area.
- Teachers proficient in English can get a job in the General or TSP area. There are 202 vacancies in the General area and 19 vacancies in the TSP area.
- For the subject ‘Social Science’, there are 272 vacancies in the General area and 24 vacancies in the TSP area.
- For the subject ‘Maths and Science’, there are 970 vacancies in the General and 73 vacancies in the TSP area.
REET Mains Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the REET Mains Exam 2025, candidates must meet two conditions of eligibility.
Eligibility Criteria- Educational Qualifications
- For Level 1, candidates must have qualified for the REET prelims exam for Level 1.
- For Level 2, candidates must have qualified for the REET prelims exam for Level 2 and have completed graduation or a degree in B.Ed. or a related field.
Eligibility Criteria- Age Limit
The eligible age of candidates will be determined by referring to the date 01/01/2027. If the candidate is of a minimum age of 21 years with effect from 01/01/2027, then he/she is eligible for the recruitment process. Apart from this, candidates of a maximum age of 40 years can apply for the recruitment process. Age relaxations will be provided according to the category of candidates, which is not revealed by the RSSB.
