After the declaration of the UP NEET results 2025, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the counselling schedule. Moreover, the counselling schedule has been released for admission through NEET-UG 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has drafted the schedule to ease the admission process for the state counselling body, medical colleges, and students. Furthermore, this schedule will cover the state quota (SQ) and the All India Quota (AIQ) seats for the NEET-UG admissions. To adhere to the Supreme Court’s guidelines, all state authorities and medical colleges are expected to follow the schedule.
In Uttar Pradesh, the counselling for NEET 2025 will be completed in four seat allotment rounds. After every round, the seats that remain unfilled will be reassigned to the next round for allotment. Moreover, candidates who wish to pursue MBBS and BDS courses in Uttar Pradesh will have to use their NEET scores for admission. Additionally, the seat allotment will be based on the candidate’s college preferences, NEET score, and reservations. According to the agreement, UP NEET Counselling will handle the seat allotments and admissions of 85% of the available seats. On the other hand, MCC has taken responsibility for handling the remaining 15% of AIQ seats.
UP NEET Counselling 2025
The counselling schedule has specified the rounds and the functioning of the allotment process. However, dates will be released soon. According to the reports, there are 10,643 medical seats available for admission in medical institutions of UP. These seats are offered by a total of 80 medical colleges that are present in the state. Out of 80, 44 are Government medical institutions, while 36 are private. NEET Counselling Dates for the First Round
According to the Office of the Director General, Medical Education and Training, UP, the online counselling will start after online registration and document verification are completed. Therefore, they have released the schedule for the online registration process for UP NEET Counselling 2025. Candidates can register for the first round of counselling and upload their documents from July 18 to July 28, 2025. Within these 10 days, candidates have the time from 2:00 pm on July 18 to 11:00 am on July 28 to complete their online registration. Additionally, the submission of the registration fee and security money will also happen in these 10 days. The fee payments can be processed from 2 pm on July 18 to July 28. UP NEET Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

For document verification, candidates will have to submit the documents to the mentioned centre for verification. Registration Fee and Security Money for State Quota
Candidates will have to submit the registration fee and the Security Money to confirm their registration for the counselling session. The detailed breakdown of both the fee structures is as follows:
Registration Fee
- For the first, second, and third rounds, candidates will have to pay the registration fee of Rs 2000.
- However, for the stray and optional round, candidates will have to pay an additional registration fee of Rs 1000.
Security Money
- For admission to Government Medical and Dental colleges/ Institutes/ Universities, candidates will have to deposit Rs 30,000. Additionally, candidates are eligible only when they opt for the government colleges.
- Moreover, for admission to Government and Private Dental Colleges/ Institutes/ Universities, candidates will have to pay Rs 2,00,000. Candidates are eligible for this security Money only when they are applying for both Government and Private colleges.
- For Government Medical & Dental and Private Dental Colleges/ Institutes/ Universities, candidates have to deposit Rs 100000. Moreover, candidates are eligible for this category only when they apply for Government Medical and Dental colleges, with Private Dental colleges in their preferences.
