The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has already decided to release admit cards for the Preliminary Examination for R.O. and A.R.O. For those candidates who have applied for these posts, the making of the hall ticket is possible on the official website. The prelim exam is scheduled for the 27th of July, 2025, at various centres all through the State. All candidates must carry the necessary documents and follow the instructions.
UPPSC will fill 411 vacancies for Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer posts. An admit card is an entry pass and has the exam centre, time and roll number. All candidates are to verify all information found in their profiles and report any mistakes for correction to the UPPSC section. Carrying incorrect or mismatched documents will lead to disqualification.
Come With Only Authentic Documents to the Exam Centre
The candidates must carry their admit cards on the day of the examination in a printed form. The center will not entertain any digital copy of the admit card. A valid photo identity proof is also mandatory for verification. It must be guaranteed by the applicant applying for PMRF that the ID proof is compatible with the details filled in the application.
Permitted photo IDs include Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, and Driving License. At least one of these IDs is compulsory. Candidates also need to bring a passport-sized photograph. The photograph must match the one uploaded during online registration.

Follow These Instructions on Exam Day
Exam day guidelines are laid down to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. All candidates are required to follow all the rules while entering the Exam Halls.
Bags, purses, luggage, etc., are not allowed by UPPSC. Sharp or metallic objects like scissors and metal rulers are also not allowed.

UPPSC RO ARO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
UPPSC RO/ARO Preliminary Exam consists of two subject papers: General Studies and General Hindi. These sections test the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs, grammar and comprehension. The paper contains multiple-choice questions with negative marking.
The General Studies paper will have 140 questions, and General Hindi will have 60 questions. Each correct answer gets 1 mark. 0.33 marks are deducted for each wrong attempt. This marking scheme requires precision and thorough knowledge of the syllabus.

UPPSC RO ARO Exam 2025 Minimum Marks
Scoring well in the prelims is a must to move to the next round. UPPSC has set varying qualifying marks for different classes. The Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories must have secured an aggregate of at least 40%. For SC and ST candidates, it is 35%.

You will have to log in with your registration number and date of birth to download your hall ticket.

Reach the Centre Early and Follow Protocols
Reach the centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time. Early arrival gives time for verification and seating. Be disciplined and follow all the instructions of the exam staff. Don’t carry any unauthorized items or try to cheat.
Keep your documents ready. Place your admit card and photo ID inside a transparent folder. Stay calm and focused before the exam starts. Once you are handed the question paper, carefully read the instructions written on it.
If you lose your admit card, you can download it again from the official website. UPPSC will not provide the admit card at the centre. Also, don’t lend or borrow stationery inside the hall.
